A typical home inspection takes about 2 to 3 hours for a standard-sized home. Larger homes or properties with multiple stories may take longer. We’ll make sure to take the necessary time to inspect everything thoroughly, so you can have complete peace of mind.


While it’s not mandatory for you to be present during the inspection, we highly recommend it! Being there allows you to ask questions, see any potential issues firsthand, and gain a better understanding of your property’s condition. If you can’t make it, don’t worry – we’ll provide you with a detailed report and can schedule a call to go over the findings.


We know how important it is to get your results quickly, especially during a real estate transaction. You will receive your report within 24 hours of the inspection, and in many cases, we can deliver it the same day. Our reports are thorough and easy to read, with clear findings and photos.

To help ensure a smooth and efficient inspection:

  • Provide access to all areas, including the attic, basement, crawlspace, and utility rooms.
     
  • Clear the area around major systems (e.g., furnace, water heater, electrical panel) to make them easily accessible.
     
  • Turn on utilities like water, gas, and electricity so we can thoroughly inspect all systems.
     
  • Be available to discuss findings during or after the inspection, if possible.
     


If we find issues during the inspection, we’ll provide a detailed report with clear descriptions, photos, and recommended next steps. Depending on the severity of the issues, you may want to negotiate repairs or a price reduction with the seller, or in some cases, walk away from the property. Our goal is to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision.
 


Yes! In fact, we encourage you to attend if possible. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions and get a better understanding of the home’s condition. If you can’t attend, we’ll send you a comprehensive report with all the details, and we’re happy to discuss our findings with you afterward.

Yes! We offer New Construction Phased Inspections, which involve inspecting the home at key stages of construction. This ensures the home is built to code and meets high-quality standards before it’s finished. We also offer 11-Month Warranty Inspections to identify issues before your builder's warranty expires.
